Tank Binder

Regular price $73.00 CAD Save $-73.00 CAD
-131 in stock

Longline style with moderate compression and convertible straps for wear under any type of top. More versatile and comfortable than a sports bra-style binder, because the straps are more hidden under tank tops. Back is semi-sheer powermesh that won't bag out, holds you in tight but allows for cool airflow on your hottest days. Switch the straps from straight down to crossed, and easily adjust them with sliders, now located in the front for easy adjustment. Take this top to the beach or pool, as it's perfectly made for a swim top as well.

-Straps are plush backed elastic and hooks are nylon coated for strength and durability
-Front is lined in power mesh for protection
-Mesh and straps comes in black or white (black is the default)

Please see the fit guide below for how to measure

Production wait is currently 6-8 weeks

The "Masculine" and "Feminine" videos differ only in the way they describe body parts (eg: bust vs. chest). They don't necessarily reflect gender identities!

Custom Sizing

We encourage you to send your measurements for a customized fit.  Please measure all that apply to your purchase IN INCHES and send in the "custom measurements" box
Girth: Measure from one shoulder, around the body vertically, through the legs and back to the same shoulder. Make sure you are standing tall. If your measuring tape is not long enough, you can use a piece of string and then measure that.

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, with arms relaxed down at sides and without a bra. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor. Keep  the tape comfortably snug but not tight, which will include measuring
the space between the chest tissue. Do not squeeze the chest tissue flat.
Ribs/Underbust: Around your ribcage where a bra band sits. Measure on the exhale.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, which appears as a crease when bending to one side.
High Hip: Measure just over the hip bones, where you would wear a low rise bottom.
Low Hip: Measure around fullest part of the body including the butt with feet together. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

When taking your underbust measurements, make sure to measure under the breast tissue

What to Measure

Think of everywhere your piece will touch on your body.
Bodysuits: Chest, ribs, waist, high hip, low hip, girth
Bras, Harnesses: Chest, ribs. Do not send your bra size
Low Rise Bottoms: High hip, low hip
Binders: Chest, ribs, waist (measure unclothed)
Gaffs:
High Rise: Waist, high hip, low hip
    Thong, Cheeky, Hipster: High hip
    Boyshort: High hip, low hip

"Roomy" Fit

All bottoms can be made in a "Roomy fit" for people with penises, although this does not offer compression. In this case, the midsection is made wider than traditional cuts, allowing a soft and comfortable fit in any of our bottoms.

Very nice. I love the mesh back and the front fabric is both pretty and comfortable. The straps are a little uncomfortable but I like that they're adjustable.

Worth the wait!

A beautifully made binder that fit all of the criteria I'd been looking for! It took a couple days to break it in, but it now it fits perfectly without any discomfort. The mesh fabric makes it very comfortable to wear in hot and humid weather like where I am from and it binds very well. I really like that the neckline is also much lower than standard binders, which means I'm not limited to wearing just t-shirts and button-ups on top. The detachable straps make it really easy to take the binder off as well. The only complaint I have is that the straps and hooks don't come in nude like the fabric which means they're visible under thinner shirts, but this isn't such a big deal to me as I remedied this by dyeing them myself. I'm definitely planning on ordering another in the future!

Love it! Worth the wait

I love my new binder from Origami Customs. I ordered a custom size. Initially the binder was a bit too small, but the awesome folks at Origami took it out an inch and now it fits perfectly. It took about 6 weeks for the binder to initially arrive and another 2 weeks to send it back for alterations and receive the altered binder. It was well worth the wait! This is my new everyday binder. I was looking for a binder that had thin, non-racerback straps. Other binders squeeze my shoulders and upper back to the point where I get a migraine if I wear it too long. Not the case with this binder! I can put the straps on the boniest part of my shoulders and adjust the length so it doesn't stress my muscles. I can easily move my shoulders and arms full range and the binder stays in place. This is the most comfortable binder I have owned! I was a little concerned that the compression would not be enough to fully flatten my chest (34B), but it does an even better job than other binders that I own! I can wear it work for an 8 hour shift with very little discomfort (no binder is going to be completely comfortable to wear for that long, but this one is impressive). It is practically invisible under clothing thanks to the low neck and back. It even looks fantastic on its own as a crop top or lingerie. I would highly recommend this binder, or any binder from Origami. If you've struggled with being in between sizes for binders in the past, definitely go for the custom size, it makes a world of difference. I will only be ordering my binders from Origami from now on! Love love love it!!!

Purchase was 100% worth it - afab, NB

This binder has been working great, and even better than expected. The breathable mesh in the back is extremely handy for hotter days, and it also makes it perfect for working out in. I have a wide placed chest that's on the slightly larger side (34D), and this binder reduces the bounce and projection (the biggest causes of my dysphoria) of my chest, causing it to appear decently flat (or at least significantly smaller cupped depending on the shirt) within reason, and safely. My only complaint is that the color binder I chose was lighter than expected based on the picture - I choose Oat, as it appeared (at least to me, or as I happened to interpret it in the picture) darker than the other shades, but if I had to do it again I'd probably choose sand or black, but this isn't anything especially hindering since the binder would be under clothes anyway - it only effects my ability to wear mesh shirts, but that's not super important.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone of a similar chest size to mine - I even recommended it to a cis friend who was looking for a cute compression top to allow for more versatility in clothing options. I almost didn't buy this binder out of my own insecurities, but it's definitely gone down as one of thee best, and most quality of life changing purchases I have ever made.
