If your custom piece doesn't fit how it should, we'll make it right, at no cost to you.
Because you deserve a garment that was literally made for you.
Why We Do It
Unlike fast fashion, every custom piece is made by our tailoring staff specifically for YOUR body. We cut, sew, and inspect every garment in our Montreal studio based on the measurements you provide. These items don’t just come off a rack!
That means we can't simply put it back on a shelf if you change your mind. So instead of a return system, we guarantee that your item will fit you perfectly, or we’ll fix it.
Because rather than building the cost of returns and waste into every order, we want to invest that money into:
- Free custom sizing
- Free products for people who don’t have access
- Free educational content
- Living wages and gender-affirming healthcare for our staff
- Ethical manufacturing in Montreal
How Our Fit Guarantee Works
Step 1
Send us your correct measurements.
Do not size down! We know it’s tempting because you want maximum compression. But trust us, it’s built to be tight. If you shrink down your measurements, your garment will be uncomfortable and possibly cause you health issues.
Not sure how to measure? Follow the instructions on the Sizing Page to make sure you get it right. If you’re still stuck, message us anytime, and we'll help.
Step 2
Our highly trained tailoring staff makes your garment specifically for your body based on the measurements you send us.
Every piece is individually created and meticulously checked before shipping.
Step 3
Try it on. Note: It will feel tight! It’s supposed to!
Because all of our compression garments are made entirely out of stretch material, the actual item will be a lot smaller than your measurements. This is because it should be at its very maximum stretch once you have it on for it to compress properly.
Additionally, our high-quality Powermesh will relax after a few wears, and so we factor that into the sizing. Otherwise, it would fit a lot more easily when new, but stretch further than your measurements once the material has relaxed, making it less effective as a compression garment.
If you cannot comfortably wear your binder or gaff because it’s too tight at first, you may be able to loosen it by stretching it out over something like the back of a chair for a couple of nights, and putting it through the wash.
As a rule of thumb, a compression garment will measure to about two-thirds of the given measurement when unworn, or be about a third of that measurement when measured across the width while lying flat.
If we made a sizing mistake and your custom garment is off by more than an inch, we'll replace it for free! We have this inch of wiggle room because all our garments are stretchy in all directions, so there can be some variation in measuring. One inch represents a ¼ inch difference in each seam- a normal tolerance for stretch garments.
How We Make It Right
We have meticulously made our patterns over years of testing, and we thoroughly check each handmade garment before shipping. But sometimes mistakes still happen!
If you think that we got your measurements wrong or made a manufacturing mistake, send us an email!

We do Our best to help!
List of specific reasons why a garment can be replaced:
- Thread is snapped or unravelled
- Hole or damage to the fabric
- Fabric is twisting (was cut on an angle to the grain)
- Stain that won’t come out in the wash (you’ll be asked to wash it before we send a replacement)
- We verified that your measurements were correct, and we made the garment the incorrect size.
List of reasons why a garment can not be replaced:
- You sent in inaccurate measurements
- It is too tall or short for your body
- The color is slightly different than you expected (we do our very best to take accurate photos, but we can’t account for things like differences in computer screens)
- Your binder was made to the correct size, but you still can't comfortably get it on or off over your head, even after wearing, stretching, and washing it. (We can’t account for personal things like shoulder mobility or strength)
You’ll be asked to confirm what is wrong with the garment through photographs. If there is a flaw we didn’t notice in the fabric or the stitching, send us a picture of what you think is wrong. If it’s a sizing issue, we’ll ask for photos of you wearing the garment (if you’re comfortable with that), your personal measurements, and the flat-lay measurements of the garment you received. So keep your measuring tape handy!
If we made a mistake on our end, we will absolutely make it right at no cost to you.
We will remake your custom garment as soon as possible and send you a brand new one. We’ll work with you to make sure we understand what needs to change so you feel awesome in your piece.
We ask that you donate the garment we’re replacing to a local organization (we can help you find one!) That way the extra garment won’t go to waste.
What If I Measured Incorrectly?
We get that sometimes bodies also change, or even fluctuate week to week. Stretch garments like ours allow for a fit that is still accurate, even with slight fluctuations in measurements.
The first thing we will ask you to do is double-check your measurements. If the measurements submitted with your order are inaccurate, we unfortunately can't offer alterations or replacements. We’re a small company that makes each piece special to order, so we’re trusting you to be accurate.
We have lots of resources to help you understand how to measure yourself. So if you’re new at this, please read through our Sizing Page and follow along with the videos we’ve made to help you!
If you're still unsure about measuring, reach out before ordering. Our team is happy to help and would much rather answer questions than have you guess.
What About Returns On Standard-Sized Items?
We do not take returns on our standard-sized garments. Just like our custom garments, we still trust you to measure yourself and choose the correct size. So please measure yourself before choosing standard sizing, as our size chart is specific to our brand.
We know that sometimes you need your items faster than we can make them- and that’s why we’ve started stocking some pre-made pieces in standard sizing. But if you have any hesitation about ordering a pre-made size, or if you’re between sizes, we strongly suggest using our free custom sizing. We offer custom sizing for FREE, and we really want you to take advantage of this rare benefit! We promise it’s worth the wait!
If you are not within 1 inch of the standard size measurements, we highly recommend choosing custom sizing.
Gaffs and binders are technical garments that need to fit properly to do their job and to be safe. So if you choose a standard-sized garment and it doesn’t fit you perfectly, we unfortunately can’t replace it.
That said, if something doesn't seem right, please get in touch with us. We're always happy to help troubleshoot the fit, answer questions, or make sure you received the correct size. And of course, if there's been a manufacturing error on our end, we'll replace it as quickly as possible. We stand behind every garment we make!
What About Overstock Or Clearance Items?
Anything in the clearance or overstock sections is final sale. Some of these items are already discounted because of manufacturing flaws, so make sure to read the description and look at the close-up photos of the flaws before you buy!
Why Don't We Accept Returns?
Our custom garments don't exist until you order them. Every piece is cut, sewn, and finished specifically for your body using the measurements you provide. It was never made to sit on a shelf waiting for a customer. It was made for one person: you.
Because of that, custom garments can't simply be returned and sold to someone else.
Accepting returns would create unnecessary waste and significantly increase costs, forcing us to build those expenses into the price of every garment.
There's another important reason, too. Our products are intimate garments. For hygiene reasons, worn underwear and similar garments cannot legally be resold in many places, even if they're returned in excellent condition. Once a custom garment has been worn, it isn't something our company can ethically or safely handle or send to another customer, even as a donation.
Rather than using resources processing returns and throwing perfectly good garments into the landfill, we'd much rather invest in things that directly benefit our community. That means offering free custom sizing, maintaining our Perfect Fit Guarantee, supporting our Community Program, paying living wages and gender-affirming healthcare for our staff, and continuing to manufacture ethically in our Montreal studio.
We’ve spent years perfecting our patterns and know that technical garments like gaffs and binders should be made specifically for the individual wearing them. That's exactly why custom sizing is FREE, and why our Perfect Fit Guarantee exists. We'd much rather help you get a garment that's made specifically for your body than have you settle for a standard size that might not fit as well.
If we make a mistake, we'll fix it.
If you have questions before you order, we'll help you choose the right option. Our goal has never been to sell as many garments as possible. It's to make sure the garment you receive is one you'll actually love wearing for a long time.
