I can't comment on the longevity of these gaffs yet because I haven't worn em long-- though the seams look pretty robust-- but they knock all the others I've tried before out of the water, and just feel really good to wear.
I ordered the boyshorts (in both a wide and roomy gusset) because I was worried that like the other gaffs I'd tried before there wouldn't be enough flattening (the point of a gaff) with something like a thong or hipster fit. And because I strongly dislike wearing thong gaffs, they feel precarious and uncomfortable for me. These on the other hand flatten amazingly, feel like wearing regular panties, and without feeling constricting on my gennies. The wide gusset feels secure on my gennies while the roomy feels even more so, with slight tightness on my inner thighs* with the latter; in most outfits the wide would probably serve me well, I only would bother with the roomy for micro skirts and booty shorts (though I might need a different fit for booty shorts anyway) and the like, and even then only because I'm noided about showing if moving hard or stretching and I want to be able to feel completely free to spread my legs even in skimpy outfits. I can only speak to the black option, but it works very well to diffuse any visual bulge from the front and side-- dark colors, especially black, are best on gaffs for that reason (though if it's going to be under pants, tights, leggings, or a bodycon dress or skirt and no one's going to see it then go wild, get the color you like best). Visually the underwear have a pleasing simple and practical look going on from the front, with your ass showing from the back through the mesh there; that last will take some adjusting to for me. If ya don't like that you can probably wear a pair of panties you do like under or over it. I imagine the seams show up a tiny bit under tight clothes, I personally never pay attention to that.
*This seems to be semi consistent with other reviews, so I'd suggest sending a custom measurement of your thighs to avoid this. I used a standard size.
Note on gusset sizes: I'm neither huge nor tiny and a wide fit me comfortably, flattened amazingly, and felt secure for movement, stretches, and opening my legs wide. I only would wear a roomy fit if you're particularly noided about literally even the idea of any break in silhouette showing where your inner thighs meet the seam while you're on the floor in booty shorts spreading your legs as wide as you can in the air. If you've had an orchi you definitely don't need a roomy.
Seeing as these work so well and feel so quality, I'll probably get a hipster or cheeky fit at some point after I've tested just how robust these are after many wearings and washings.
Sincere gratitude to the origami customs crew for making proper gaffs in the style of how clothes out to made, to last. I wish my younger self had had these years ago, and am glad others are getting them now. I'll for sure recommend these to all my friends. I personally am excited to think about other camab trans people feeling more comfortable wearing what they wanna wear and as a result getting the chance to see more hotties walking around feeling themselves.
