All of our binders just got a redesign! They now feature: more even compression, flatter and more secure fit, comfortable hidden seams and smooth edges, more streamlined angled straps to ease tension on the shoulders and for a greater range of motion, and a shorter line to eliminate rolling.
Binders are used to compress the chest tissue. Some are made to be used under clothes and some are opaque and can be used to swim. The powermesh offers moderate binding while allowing for some flexibility to make sure breathing is not restricted.
Binders will fit very tightly when you first get them, and will relax over the first few wears.
I really like the strapless mess binder it very nice. I enjoy using it around the house as it not to constricting and as a gender fluid big titty person, it wonderful
I wasn't really sure of what I was expecting, but this binder has exceeded any and all expectations I had. It fits perfectly, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. The material is comfortable and it is breathable, which is amazing. I've never felt more comfortable in my own skin than I do when I'm wearing it. It really has been life changing. I will for sure be shopping from you guys again in the future.
Comfortable and a good amount of compression. It's very easy to get in and out of compared to the standard type of binder.
This is perfect for wearing under crop tops and sheer tops! It's exactly what I wanted. It's a little hard to get on but I'm not used to binders but it's no different than other binders really.
Great binder! I love the look of it, it feels like a fashionable garment in a way my other binders often don't. Breathable and the level of compression I'd hoped for. It does slip down after a wearing for a bit but not so much that it's an issue for me.
I know the wait time may be intimidating but having my binder customer made, it was worth it. The material used is breathable. I don’t sweat in it like other binders I’ve used.
Very comfortable, works great :)
I super appreciate this binder! Until recently I didn't know I could even wear one. For disability reasons I can't wear garments with tight straps over my shoulders, and can't put on tight garments either over my head, or by shimmying into them. I also couldn't do up a side closure by myself. Kita from Origami worked with me on coming up with a solution to all these issues, and on figuring out the exact measurements needed (and which colour would work best with my skin tone) -- and now I have a comfortable front-closure binder I love. I can do it up myself, and it flattens my chest extremely well, but still allows me to breathe super comfortably. (I mean, when doing usual life things. I haven't tried exercising in it, but I wouldn't recommend that as a rule.)
One thing to consider about strapless binders is that you can end up with a little chest fat overflow at the top, by the underarms. For me it's not really noticeable once I have clothes on (I am a thinnish person). If you are able to wear a binder with straps, that might be the better choice re: this issue -- but for those of us who prefer/need the strapless ones, this is the one I'd passionately recommend. (Email to ask for a front closure if you also have trouble with a side one!) It's super well-made, it has comfortable 'cuffs' at the top and bottom, so there is zero chafing, it breathes well, it doesn't hurt my delicate stomach, and the compression is uniform yet comfortable. I really like the hooks for closing it; they don't require a lot of strength in pulling because they're so closely spaced, and I found them easy to thread together.
Thank you so much, Origami Customs.
The binder fits amazingly well and is actually really comfortable. It works great and allows me to comfortably wear shirts that I wouldn't before, plus with the mesh it's very breathable compared to my other binders. Definitely worth the wait!
It's especially been great as the past few weeks have been disgustingly hot out, and it makes me more comfortable wearing tank tops and v-necks out and about without straps showing (and I can wear it under light/white shirts)!
This product is wonderful! I've only been wearing it for about 2 weeks now, but I can already say that this is one of the best binders I've worn. Not scratchy and nothing really digs into your sides or chest; due to it being strapless you'd think there'd be a lot of adjusting but it stays in place very well.
It's not at all summer where I am, but I already know I'm going to feel a lot more confident without straps showing when I wear a tank top or wide-necked t-shirts. The service I received was also lovely, very kind, and professional.
The package arrived in a timely fashion despite warnings that the process would probably take longer than usual. All in all, a great experience, and I will be shopping here in the future.
I love how this feels—while like any similar garment, the seams around the arms and shoulders can rub the skin uncomfortably, I’ve noticed this less as I’ve worn my binder more. The color is a really good match for me and is unnoticeable under almost all my clothing.
I chose to do a custom fit. This is the reason I ended up going with Origami Customs over other brands. I love that a binder made to my measurements is the exact same price as one made with standard measurements. The bind itself is really nice and I feel comfortable wearing my binder underneath just a thin t-shirt in warmer months.
I didn’t have any issues with delivery or customer service. I think the delivery estimation is super reasonable and my package actually ended up arriving early, which was a lovely surprise.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking at purchasing a binder.
I have no complaints, this is the binder of my dreams! Fits great, doesn't itch for me at all! For reference, I got a S and my chest measures 32DD.
I used to buy a bra sold by Title 9 called the Frog Bra that had a more pronounced flattening effect than any other bra I've seen. When those became permanently unavailable, I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I was thrilled to find Origami, and even more thrilled to receive and try on this item. The fit is different from anything I've used before - the shoulder straps are placed a little wider - and I wasn't sure that was going to work for me, but it does. The elastic or seems around my torso are slightly scratchy, so that would be my suggested improvement. All in all, I am very happy with this item, and will buy more of them.
When I contacted OrigamiCustoms because my son did not fit the standard sizes listed in the size table, they immediately responded with telling us to insert their measurements in the instructions box when we made our order. Pleasantly surprised when the binder came in, it fit my son perfectly!!! I will be reordering again and recommend to all people looking for binders!!!
It's the tightest binder I own but the fit is so good that it's still comfortable.
It's effective and feels secure. It's the one I reach for when the dysphoria is worst.
I ended up deciding to go custom on this. I was nervous, as this was my first custom garment of any kind - I was very careful to follow the measurement instructions exactly. Wait time was about 2 months before shipping. Well, I had no reason to worry. The fit was amazing - perfect in width around my (very large) chest, but not loose around my (comparatively slim) shoulders, long enough in my (tall) torso... I was blown away. This binder gets me the most naturally flat I've ever been, even compared to binders that advertise themselves as binding completely flat. If you've ever been let down by standard sized garments from other retailers, it's worth it to go custom! Highly recommended.
this binder is very comfy - the racer back gives nice shoulder range of motion, and and I don’t feel too squeezed! Despite being on the stretchier side, it flattens my chest very nicely. The mesh makes it cool in the summer.
Fits comfortably, doesnt restrict movement at all! Binds nicely and allows the skin to breathe more than a traditional binder
Amazing product! Super well crafted, very sturdy but also comfortable. After testing binders from different companies, highly recommend this one!
I may have ordered a size that was slightly too small using old measurements, but after I get the binder on I really like the fit!
So happy. Very glad I went custom and that there wasn’t a charge for that. It made a big difference. The color is lovely and the texture feels really good too.
I ordered a customised fit, and it fits so comfortably and well on my body.
It doesn’t compress my chest tightly, so my chest ends up being not as flat as I’d like it to be but I feel like it is an advantage because the binder lets me breathe and move without any discomfort or pain.
The fabric is really nice and the tailoring is very well done.
I looked for a long time for a binder that would work for me. I struggled more and more with over the head binders and then couldn't wear one at all due to a shoulder injury. The ability to take this binder off without going over the head was a life saver. No more feeling trapped. And so worth getting the custom fit. Thank you all so much!
I've been unable to bind due to being fat and having severe asthma. I was worried to spend $80+ on a binder that I might jave an asthma attack in and not be able to easily get off.
This binder is perfect.
I can get it off with one hand- or even just unclasp it in an emergency situation and not have to lift it over my head AND because it's custom fit it fits ME!
Popular binder largest sizes aren't inclusive for me but being able to buy from a small business that can make a binder that fits me, its accessable to someone with health concerns, and the compression isn't exasperating my asthma is AWESOME.
The shipping was much faster than I expected too.
perfect my boyfriend loves it
